[DML] Re: Disabling Lambda

I can't really imagine what electrical condition could exist that would repeatedly fry ECU's. I performed continuity checks on all the wiring after the initial failure and nothing was grounded that shouldn't have been and no wires had continuity between them that shouldn't have.

I've not completed my diagnosis, so I'm not certain of a second ECU failure yet, I'm just exploring possibilities in case it is.

I know that early PRV6's didn't have a lambda port on the fuel distributor but as you say, the way our engine is set up to run, it probably needs the Lambda system to run well.

I'll check that ground wire you mentioned. If the ECU has failed, I guess I'll be buying another one.

You need to fully troubleshoot the Lambda electrical system. The way the PRV-6 is set up in the Delorean requires a working Lambda system. You will not be happy with things just by enrichening the fuel mixture to make up for a non-functioning Lambda. Is the little ground wire connected to the intake manifold on the front, right side near the frequency valve?
