[DML] Re: Is my problem the stereo or the speakers?

If the speakers are original they are most likley dead. They were inexpensive speakers when they were new, 29 years later they didn't age well. The cones are dust. The wiring is not adequate for anything newer or more powerful so it is a good idea to change that while you change the speakers. The radio is pitiful by today's standards but should still work (except for the display). The radio only puts out 8 Watts per channel.

Is this a problem with the stereo itself or is it the wireing and or the factory speakers? The reason i am asking is because i want to try and keep my delorean as stock as possible but as of right now only one speaker is working (rear driver side)and though i do love to hear my delorean purr it gets kind of boring after the first hour.
