[DML] Re:fresh air hole under windshield cowl -- is it just a hole?

Farrar, 

I removed the wipers and decorative grill and installed a fine mesh black plastic screen on my Deloreans.  
These screen have a plastic injection molded boarder so they are very strong.   I glued them into place with black silicone. 
They look totally stock.  I can just suck off any debris now with a shop vacuum. 

The screens have the same size holes as regular window screening, so they also keep out bugs.  

This hole in the dash also allows mice to enter the cars during winter storage.    Had this problem once and never allowed it to happen again.
