[DML] electrical issue with fuel pump

Had car running fine, went away for two weeks, started up car and found fuel pump not working. Checked all contacts in fuse box and relay. Every thing seems to be getting current. fuel pump wires have be splice to a fuse jumper. wires have current. relay has current, but current stops with wires going to fuel pump. I am stumped. Has anyone had this problem with there car. Also this is one of the 500 series which had a number of issues. Is there possibly an auxillary electrical connection I am missing?
