[DML] Re: Mirrors



The hard part can be the connections on the mirror motors themselves.

So first you have to determine there's 12V and plenty ground to the switch and from there to the mirrors. You also may use direct ground and 12V to the mirror wiring to check movement.
If that doesn't help, the problem may be the motor itself or the wire connection to the motor.

If it's the mirror motors (strange if both fail at the same time) then you have to take off the mirrors by heating them with a heat gun and try to get them off the carrier plate (carefully or you destroy the mirror or burn your hand).
Thereafter you can unscrew the carrier plate that connects to the motor and be able to check the motor itself amd the connections.
