[DML] Re: Can Pep Boys or Goodyear replace DeLorean brakes?

As per the advice of the good folks here, I went to an old-school mechanic. He services a lot of Volvos, so that kind of knowledge came in handy, I bet.

It turns out, I have a good vacuum on the brake line, so the brake booster should be ok. The brake hose on the driver's-side front is leaking, though. So, that explains why the car pulls hard to the right when braking. I need to order and install a new brake hose for the front left ASAP. While I'm at it, I'm deliberating changing the rotors and pads. I'd like to be thorough and change the calipers too, but I can't find calipers anywhere.

As for my suspension issue, my mechanic noticed my passenger's-side front spring was rotated in a different position compared to the driver's side front. He tried to compress the spring and rotate it to match the other side. He didn't get it 100% rotated, but close enough... the suspension issue is gone now. Whew!

I also got the e-brake adjusted. 4 clicks and the wheels don't move. Sweet. :)
