I think it's a scam. The car was for sale on Ebay earlier in August and was located in Ohio. It sounds fishy that the "seller" is now in California and won't sell the car in the US. He probably avoided listing the car on US Ebay so no one would notice it. I think he simply took the photos from the original listing. Ask him for a VIN plate photo. If he really has the car he should be able to produce it for you. If you get a photo from him, send it to me.
