[DML] Re: tracking down a power drain



The newer technology these days does not create a big draw on batteries - However, if you have an original door lock module you have a big drain. Alone it will drain a battery in a week to 10 days. There is a fix which many people have done that reduces the drain by some 95%. It is in the files section somewhere. Of course the newer ones sold by DMCH have the newer technology that has minimal drain too.

I have an alarm, a big amp, and a fixed door lock module. I have armed the car for a week without issues.
