Re: [DML] magazines

I don't believe in beating a subject to death more than one time on the DML is appropriate.
I think others agree.

We are getting ready to print the next magazine Vol 4 issue 2 and it will be out mid April with a lot of New DeLorean stuff we (Cliff) found and will share in the next magazine. Much of this find along with Ben Byrds material that Cliff bought before will be shared at DCS 2010 in the museum. We have more than enough for the show so between Matt and un most of the items in the museum will be new.

I'll answer this part of Marcs question
The magazine Volume 1 leading to Pigeon Forge generated enough cash to help us get the convention center.
Volume 2 paid for a few guest speakers
Volume 3 the same
Volume 4 is up to you so far we are down enough that it may just break even.

Sorry, I thought that seemed obvious..

Josh defended the printed magazine versus electronic in that the sale of the magazine supports the show, and they don't have a workable solution to sell it in electronic format. I have argued that it should be free.

I'd like to know how much money from the magazine subsidizes the show.

As far are people in the DeLorean community who support DCS, I think I am high on the list. I continue to support Ken because I believe DCS provides an invaluable service to the community. It is just my firm opinion that the printed magazine is not worth the cost and effort.

I am disturbed by Ken's last message, "subject closed". I will discuss that with him privately.
