Re: [DML] Re: Door Alignment

I just went through eactly the same exercise on my car with a used door from another car and I can attest it is a challenge.
Dave Swingle had very good advice as far as taking both latch pins off and get the door aligned. The door shoud be equal spacing around the gaps and the car lines. I would put the torsion bar in before you try to do the latches.
I would then add that I found it usefull to only put the rear pin on and align it first.

Are you in Florida?

thanks David.

I'll take your advice about propping the door open.

Right now I've been aligning to the panels and thats somewhat hard
since no matter how hard I try it doesn't happen. I also tried aliging
to the door with the panels after I was happy at one point.
