RE: [DML] Re: eLectric DeLorean for Sale!

The other jack would like to chime in lol.

I think there is no reason to ask why someone is selling a car other than is there something seriously wrong with it. I am not going to say that any of these has happened, and I hope they did not, but here we go...

Total loss of job
Serious court judgment needed paid
Divorce
If there was a partner in the car and they had a huge falling apart
Serious health issue that will be very costly

Any one of these few I came with off the top of my head would be reason enough to sell a car and it would be none of our business whatsoever.

Just my 2 cents, but I have never seen such a discussion as to why someone is selling their car. And with the owner on the list and posting, if he had a simple reason or one he wanted public, he could tell us. I am inclined to give him his privacy and if you want the car, bid on it, otherwise move on.

And *I'm* naive? You need to wake up man. As I stated in my
original post, this guy doted all over his car in every interview
I've seen him in. Then all of a sudden he's selling it with no
explanation as to why? That doesn't seem to be the least bit strange
to you? You know people DO sell cars on ebay for reasons other than
needing money (ie the car is impractical; the car has something
majorly wrong with it; they just want to unload the thing before it
gets too expensive to fix; etc etc) so yeah I find it a little odd
that there isn't a reason up front. Especially considering that the
rest of the auction isn't very detailed then I'm inclined to be a
little suspicious. I'm not trying to bash him (or you) for it, just
responding with my honest opinion so take it for what it is worth.
