All,

VIN #5732 is still for sale and I am sadly in a place to have to lower the price to $19,500. (down from $25K) in order to have it sell a.s.a.p.

This car has 99K miles on it but...it has a full documented repair and service history since it was bought new in 1982.  During my onwership I have documented everything from oil change dates with miles to light bulb being replaced.   Please follow the links for pictures and my repair history

It's a OCT 81, Grey, 5-Speed with Hood grooves/no flap, antenna in rear.   I have added a new Fuel Sender to the list but haven't updated the repair file.

This car has an outstandingservice history with all but one mechanical repair performed by Rob Grady.  The body is in great shape with a small 2mm pinch mark on the "T" panel that you probably wouldn't even notice.

Some Highlights:

1.  New Water Pump
2.  Air condition Service (works great!)
3.  DMCH High Performance Suspension Package
4.  Remote Keyless Entry
5.  DMC Europe Polyurethane Sway Bar Bushings
6.  New OEM Seat Leather - NOT reproduction.  Bought from London
7.  Extended Convex Heated Side Mirrors
8.  Remote Trunk/Bonnet Release
9.  Wings-A-Loft Door launchers
10.  New Front Fascia with Aluminum "eyebrow" fix
11.  New Rear Fascia with new Tail light lenses
12.  New DMCH Metal door handles
13.  New DMCH Interior Glass Dome Lights
14.  Replaced both Door Solenoids
15.  Cooling Self-Bleeder System
16.  S/S Coolant Header Bottle
17.  Heavy Duty All Metal 3 Core Radiator
18.  FanZilla Fan controller (LOVE THIS THING!!!)
19.  LockZilla Door module
20.  All 1 1/4" Hoses replaced (2000)
21.  Heavy Duty Window Motors
22.  Metal Clutch Line (replaced plastic one)
23.  New Windshield Washer Motor
24.  LED Door and Side Marker Lights
25.  Full Tune-Up this past Winter at P.J. Grady

There are more items that have been done and too long to list.

What the Car Needs:

1.  Replace Drivers Side Small Toll Booth Window - Mine is scratched, BUT you will get a BRAND new OEM glass with the plastic carrier!  I bought it ahile ago but never installed it.

2.  Dashboard - developed a crack but is currently covered with the Dash-Mat pad I've had fo many years.  The Binnacle is in PERFECT condition.   I was waiting for the DMCH reproductions to be ready.

3.  Slight hesitation if I start it up cold and take off.  Rob says to replace the Fuel Filter as he did a full service on the car this past winter.  It smooths out moments after driving and has no further issue until the next morning cold start.

Everything else works 100%.   This car has a couple of jumper wires from melted fuses that Rob fixed.  You will also get a Brand New Fuse Box Kit with the purchase..again I didn't get to replacing it.

Also comes with:  A DMC Nose Bra, Extra Set of Grey Floor Mats,  4 replacement headlights and all my old Delorean World dating back the the late 80's, Gull Wing Mags, deloreans mags, DSC Car show magazines.

This car is is great shape.  It has no "fake" low miles due to broken angle drive.   I bought this car in 1998 with 63732 miles.   I have averaged 3616 miles per driving season over the last 10 years.   I believe these cars are meant to be driven and not stored forever.  I have spent in excess of 17K over the last 10 years in maintenance and cosmetic repairs (on top of my original purchase price)   If you want a car with a proven documented repair history and do not want to spend 10-15K fixing up a car, this is a great turnkey car at a great price.

Rob has been kind enough to answer questions from people who want an unbiased opinion of my car.  I want it to go to someone who will care for it as much as the original owner and I have.

If anyone is interested please contact me or please pass on my information to anyone you may know who is looking.   If they are in the New England area I would be happy to meet somewhere in between so it can be viewed.

I know I shouldn't say this but I "need" to sell my car quickly.  I am out of work and it's a luxury I can no longer justify having when bills are due.   At this price it is far less than I want to get for it but I need to price it to move.    The buyer would need to arrange for shipping.

Thanks.....
