Note that the Brandys got a little carried away. What started as
simply enlarging the spare tire well grew into utilizing every unused
square inch under the hood. You can probably store a set of golf clubs
under their hood now.

DMC didn't need to go that far. There is more than enough room for a
simple 27 or 28 inch well -- big enough for a flat rear. Whoever
designed the too small well really dropped the ball. Hopefully he or
she doesn't work for the company anymore.
