Re: [DML] Starting Issue (just like Marty's)

I honeslty havent had a chance to go try out any of the suggestions yet. I will report as soon as I get some time to mess with the car. Thanks for the advice..

Adam,

Have you solved the problem with your ignition???  Several good ideas were posted and one of them should have worked.  Oh, and just in case you did not check, the wires that fasten to the electric part of the ignition switch can become corroded, just like everthing else on this car.  Have you checked them??

As for the buzzer------ --if it stays on for 3-5 seconds after you remove the key and then goes out, it is working exactly as designed.  That's John's reminder to take out your keys before leaving the car.

My car starts up great and on the first try almost 100% of the time.
Lately I turn the key for the car to do nothing when I try to turn it
over. Everything else comes on (radio, fuel pump etc) but when I go to
turn it over, absolutley nothing. Then I take the key out, put it back
in and try it again. Sometimes same thing and sometimes it fires right
up with no hesitation. Something weird to note. When I take the key out
the safety belt/key in the ignition buzzer is still going. No idea
whats going on. Please Help or maybe shout out a starting point (pun
intended).
