David,

Although the root problem may be a bad breaker or a blower fan
running a high current (or both), you may also want to consider
uncovering your parcel shelf cover over the fuses and breakers
whenever the outside temps are over 100 degrees.

Keeping the cover off the fuses and breakers will help until
you can further diagnose the root problem (over the weekend?)
and you may also want to consider adding a small 12v cooling
fan to the fuse/breaker area, to help keep that area cool.

If you are already experiencing 105 degrees in mid-May, adding
a fan in that area (and maybe a vent hole in the cover) may be
part of a long term fix for you to consider.  I believe a few
DeLorean owners in AZ and Vegas run these mods all year long.
