Re: [DML] Re: DeLorean and Bill Robertson Thoughts

In my eight years on the DML, one thing I have come to appreciate is the overwhelming number of members who are willing to help anyone out with their car. Yeah, we don't always see eye to eye on everything, in fact I very rarely get into arguements at all! Its not my nature. This last thread got my attention and I think we are all done talking about it now.

One thing I am positive of is that neither Bill, Martin, Jake, David or myself would hesitate to help the other out with anything for any reason. Like I said, we all have opinions but our sense of community as delorean owners goes beyond occaisional bickering.

So, just remember... The DML is like a party... Sometimes a few of us get a little rowdy but we are all having a blast! Please take it easy, and note that the 'delete' key is just as easy to press as the 'open message' key!!
Regards.

I've long been an outsider looking in because I don't own a D, but I've greatly enjoyed this
list. I've lurked for about 8 years now, I think. I've skipped over a lot of petty attitudes, but
this is it.

For what it's worth, I've been involved with late model fuel injection, carburetation, and
everything in between (where I would put K-jetronic). The arrogance, arguments, and
hostility that get displayed here with increasing frequency are absolutely ridiculous and if
ever there were something that would send potential DMC owners running from the
marquee, it would be reading this embarrassing in-fighting.

I know better and know what a cool car it is, but I am unsubscribing from this list and I hope
that when I do own a DeLorean, this nonsense will not be a part of the community.

Josh
