[DML] Re: removing oil through the dipstick

I have seen many ingenious creations that have been made to channel
the oil out of the drain into a catch pan so it doesn't get all over
the frame. If you do it hot just let it drip and then wipe it off. The
epoxy wipes cleanly. If you try too hard to not be messy you can be
amazed at the mess you can make! You DO need the correct adapter for
the drain plug. Using a homemade piece of junk can munch up the drain
plug and make it much harder next time. The plug can also be replaced
with one that doesn't require an adapter. If possible try to get a
magnetic type.
