RE: [DML] rusty DMC dual exhaust

Are you referring to the performance exhaust system? I bought mine about two years ago and have some surface rust on it already, which is odd being that the car is garage kept, rarely driven, and never in bad weather. Their coating is done by Jet-Hot, who have their own warranty. If I recall, if I send my exhaust to the within 3 years, they will fix the rust problem and recoat it for free. This is quite a hassle though, seeing as I have to pull it off and send it to them.

Gang,Since they changed their website, I can't look up the original specson DMC's dual exhaust system (installed on my car a couple of yearsago at DMC Florida -- before I bought it).Does anyone know what it's coated with?It ain't stainless paint, because mine is beginning to get little rustspots all over it. :-(I believe the exhaust is now marketed as "Stage One."Does anyone remember what it's coated with? Anyone? Bueller?Farrar Hudkins#2613 (auto)
