RE: [DML] May be buying anoter DMC..

If you remove the stainless T panel, does that get you access to the door electrical harnesses? Somebody chime in here.

If you can get to the door wiring harness you could carefully tap the wires without cutting them and send power to the lock solenoids, run a window down etc. (watch an old Mission Impossible episode)

Now if you can get a window down you can get a 4 year old in to open the doors for you...

If you can get a window down, you can remove the upper door panel from outside. With that off you can probably get to the rods inside the door. Note that each of the two latches has two rods going to it, one for lock/unlock (pull or push, don't remember) and then the second rod for the door release, these you pull on.

If you can't get to the wiring to get the window down, I'd suggest the best window to bust out is the passenger side drop glass, but that would be a last resort.

I found a project DMC in the area... But, cant get in
to it!!

Both door locks move the the key, but neither door
opens. The drivers door handle is cracked inside, you
can see it when you lift the handle.

The passenger side handle looks OK, but the lock does
not seem to fully disengage with the key. Lifting the
handle has no resistance at all.

Any ideas on how to get in to this car without busting
the window?! :)
