[DML] Buying console clock - working or not!

Hello. :)? My DeLorean (#1366) is in need of a console clock.? My original was fried a couple of years ago in a terrible incident involving a panic-push of the brakes and a bottle of water.? It never kept accurate time anyway, but it was still nice to have.

Anyway, I'm looking to buy a console clock.? If it works, even better.? If not, as long as the face plate is in great shape, I'm still very much interested - Dakota Digital apparently can "rebuild" OEM digital clocks.? From what I understand, they gut all the original parts out of the unit, and stuff their own parts into the shell.? Does anyone think this is worth it, by the way?? It sounds real tempting, but the price tag of $135 is certainly no small chunk of change.

Ideally, I'd like to have an original, fully functional DMC unit.? I would just send my old one into Dakota, but my face plate has some deep slices on it from use & abuse of almost 30 years.
