[DML] Revs increase but no more power

Hi Guys,

 

Took the Delorean out for a drive yesterday and noticed a strange problem.

 

When driving in third or fourth gear at around 2000rpm, if I accelerate hard
the engine rpm climb as the speed increases up until around 3000rpm and then
suddenly the rpm increase further to around 4000rpm with no increase in
speed.  After the sudden jump the car continues to accelerate gradually
until the speed meets the rpm of the engine.

 

It does not happen every time but is happening often enough that I think its
a problem that is going to get worse.

 

Any ideas.
