RE: [DML] The Great Bricklin Controversy (DCS'08 Gettysburg)

OR........

Grudge Match!!!!!

Maybe Ken wants to set up a competition for Gettysburg?

We can pit the biggest Bricklin detractor on this list against the guy
from the Bricklin group with the most coke machine and flux capacitor
jokes. We start with the mamby pamby driving and performance stuff,
then move on to REAL events like whose door will fully open closest to a
wall, who can get a large take-out soda through their window the
easiest, graining versus waxing, getting out of the car while its on
its roof, and if we need a tie breaker, a head on collision. The
Bricklin can go one speed and the D another, and we'll finally have a
fair comparison of crash damage!

I'd love to compete myself, but I don't hate Bricklins, and as my other
post indicates - I'm having seatbelt trouble.

So who's in?

(Hint - Rich W doesn't seem to hate the Bricklin, but he does have one
hell of a car for the final round!)

Food fight. That's what it looks like. Food fight. Out
of all the billions and billions of cars that have
been built - Like Carl Sagan might have said talking
about cars instead of stars , if he were alive, us
people that own
Deloreans and Bricklins, all together, might totally
own 14,000 motor vehicles. So why argue. If we can get
into our respective vehicles, turn the key and the car
gets us somewhere, what more should we ask for.
