[DML] Re: automatic in Park [was: Lambda system]



Bill and Farrar,

I own an automatic De Lorean. When the shifter is moved from P to D I 
note some difference in RPM but not that much as Farrar mentions. I 
see a drop of 100-150 RPM max, from the idle RPM of 750-800.

I had some difference in behavior when my vacuum was out of order 
(vacuum delay valve, oneof the lines disconnected at the T-pice; 
gving no problems at cold start, but almost to actually killing the 
engine idling at a stop sign, when in D or Vents kicked in).

Perhaps this helps.
