[DML] Re: Gullwing Doors on Any Car

Actually, The Bricklin HAD It's own Engineered frame,it DID NOT come
from any other vehicle in production,it WAS made/engineered as a
Safety Sports Vehicle...Bricklin (SV-1)(the same as DMC had started
onto the Delorean,(DSV) but later just switched to DMC)the Massive
frame along the side of the Bricklin was put/engineered there for the
Safety of the passengers,(for side impact) the Gullwing doors were
part of the safety cage "birdcage"(in Bricklin terms)that totally
surrounded the passengers, just think of a massive square frame
running along all sides of the car, then a MASSIVE FULL safety cage
is installed on top of that frame(roll cage)So basically Not only do
you have a massive frame running along the side of the Bricklin..but
you have a SECOND frame bolted on top of that(the safety cage)making
it IMPOSSIBLE to put anything but Gullwing doors...or GT-40 style
doors..Again the Bricklin is Truly a Gullwing car/Safety
Vehicle...There was NO WAY around not putting gullwing doors on
it...The four things that were all Bricklin is the Engineered
Frame/Safety cage, and the Body and the body panels and wiring..just
like the Delorean..which had it's own engineered frame Body and Body
panels and wiring. And like the Delorean..everything else was from
other cars parts bin.
