Maybe - - maybe not.  And, in any case, why do any of you care.  If it
works, it is good news.  If it doesn't, I believe that John will
stand behind it.  

I suspect the only reason that this question has been asked is so that
someone can go out and perhaps find it cheaper somewhere else.  John
is an independent retail business person.  As such, if he found it as
an already existing product (THAT NONE OF YOU WERE PREVIOUSLY AWARE
OF) did the research and if he can make a profit off of the time spent
and from making it known and available to the DeLorean community, more
power to him.

I've not bought a lot of things from John, but when I have, he has
treated me fairly.  I'm currently not in the need for a main seal,
front or rear.  But, if I were, I suspect that now that I know about
this "find", I'd go for it and I frankly wouldn't care whether John
had it custom made or simply found it already existed.

For what it is worth, I'm not necessarily defending John.  I'm
defending the independent business person and the work they go through
to eke out a reasonable profit.  As most of you know, I'm a fiercely
independent retailer and my hot button has just been pushed.

What am I missing?
