[DML] Re: Holes Rotting in PRV's

Glyptol is a good preventitive solution but the root cause is the
seals, hoses, and gaskets that leak old, corrosive coolant that
collects in those wells and corrodes the block. If any owner is
worried about this problem they should do a Master Water Pump Kit and
get in there and replace all those seals, hoses, and gaskets. While in
there it is a perfect opportunity to clean the wells and paint the
area with Glyptol for a little extra "insurance". After that the
coolant should  be tested every year and replaced every 4 years. A lot
cheaper than having the block rot!
