Biggest flaw in your argument: High voltage ignition is *LESS*
expensive than stock. 

Using John's website:
OEM quality (18K coil and Bougicord wires): $120.
Performance (40K Pertronix coil and 8mm wires): $105.

$105 vs $120 -- you do the math....

I really don't understand why HEI sticks so badly in your claw. If
people were spending even 10% over stock cost you might have a (rather
weak) argument. When they're spending *LESS* than stock cost, your
argument evaporates altogether.

BTW: I recommend the 8.5mm wireset over 8mm.
