[DML] Re: Getting a Title

Although you need to thoroughly check into most of these services
on a regular basis to make sure they are not scams or if they do
not provide everything they claim, but my cousin used the service
below for a 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback project car he purchased.

I'm not sure how I would feel about some of the process steps in
"selling them the car", then you buy it back through them via an
authorized car dealership (issuing a new, valid title) if the car
is worth quite a bit, but the Mustang project car was under $2K.

In my cousin's case, he did have a title for the car, but it had
been signed over to another owner who did not get a new title, so
he was just trying to get through all the hassles of paperwork
that had not been done by the last few "owners" of this project.

Again, this was a few years ago, but he had no problems with the
service. I believe there are a few other similar services in
Arkansas that can do this as well under legal Arkansas laws.
I would contact this service for more info, if interested.

Later,
Rich W.
