Unfortunately those two dots of light are normal for sealed beams made for 
US roads. If you want real lights invest in Hella units that accept H4 
bulbs. You will have even light distribution from left to right. They also 
put a bit more light on the right as to light the right shoulder. Sealed 
beam dots are not legal in Europe and when I changed them to Hellas I was 
amazed at the difference they provide.
I can get you a complete set of outboard and inboard lights if you're 
interested. They use H4 and H1 bulbs and fit perfectly.
