Count me in as a member of CC Fraud Victims. Six to eight months ago my
Credit Card information was stolen and used to make several purchases. I
used the CC to purchase some chrome sill covers for my MGB. I had no idea
that the I was a victim until I received a statement. There were two large
purchases from Dell. I immediately contacted Dell and they gave me some
information that led me to believe that the information was stolen at the location
where the chrome sills were purchased. The Bank put a freeze on the account as
the thief had tried to made a couple of other purchases and they were
blocked.
The experience was disturbing and inconvenient. Just goes to show that
thieves are out there and active.
Mine had nothing to do with DCMH.
