Hello.

Good luck repairing your torsion bar.  I for one, believe a repair can
be done, though I'd have a hard time trusting it without testing it
after the repair, maybe even to failure, in the name of science.  I'm
very interested in the results.

True, but it is capable of hurting you if it breaks.  Probably won't,
but it can.  Hasn't happened yet, so that's good.  The door weighs a lot.

And you DID get useful information to help you with your torsion bar.

Glad you got a replacement.  Please let the results of the repair be
known to the DML community.  There's some interest in that prospect.
