Jake, To answer your question about making the AC on all the time is yes.
You may not like the end results, but yes you can real easy.
As far as the windows, that you would just have to pull the panels off to
see what's wrong and then get ready to buy new motors and regulators.

My D's windows don't currently open, and living in Iowa in the summer 
it gets bloody hot. Is there a way to make the A/C stay on all the time 
(not alternate on/off) so that it will actually get cool in there and 
be driveable? Plus any suggestions on the windows would help too. 
(drivers side gets stuck down and the passenger side gets no response 
from the switch and drops a bit in the front)
