RE: [DML] Still running 2700 ohms...

Dave, What am I missing. What does the color of the wire coming off the
pulse coil have to do with the way it runs ?? If you unplug the pulse coil
wire from the fire wall and check the resistance, and it reads about 580 to
620 ohms cold then it's all right.

Subject: [DML] Still running 2700 ohms...

I now have a new, used distributor, thanks to Dave T and a brand new pulse
coil wire.

I plan to first replace the bright green wire I have on my existing
distributor with a proper wire and see if that has any effect.

If not I will be changing out the entire distributor with the new wire.

Then if it works properly I may put my green wire on the new distributor
just to see which of the components is at fault.

Doe anyone have a 'simple" method for gaining access to the distributor
other than removing all the hoses on the fuel distributor....

BTW - Does anyone have a Bright Green pulse coil wire in their car?
