Re: [DML] Broken torsion bar

This was debated in the past, and from what I remember it was..Doors
closed,as it is not worth it for critters to nest and ruin your
interior,Plus you are now putting long term stress on your roof and
metal roof cage and hindges, and doors and struts, not to mention it
would be hard to put your car cover on.If your torsion bars are still
the orignal and have lasted this long...it is safe to say you will be
getting quite a few more years out of them. Most cases of torsion bars
snapping are usually related to roof problems(rusted or warped or
stress cracked cages)or bad hindges or chipped/damaged bars or over
torqued bars.If you have none of the above and your doors close
fine, then you really have nothing much to worry about, just inspect
your bars once in a while, and you should be just fine.

Hope that helps
