You can buy aerosol cans of deodorizer which you spray down the vent under the windshield (on the outside of the car) while the A/C is running full blast.  It will kill mold and bacteria.  If that doesn't work, you might want to try using an ozone generator to shock-bomb the interior while the recircuating A/C is on.  And if THAT doesn't work, you will have to take all the ducting and heater/AC apart and clean it by hand.

Well, I have had my Delorean for almost 2 years now and I just can't 
et a pungent smell from it.  I have shampooed the carpet several 
imes. Replaced the carpet in the storage compartment.  Installed a 
rand new headliner.  The guy that I bought it from had mice in it from 
torage.  That is what the smell is (mice urine).  I have used several 
ifferent types of deodorizors and still the smell is there.  
Where does the fresh air for the ac and vents come from? Any other 
uggestions? This smell is the only thing stopping me from really 
njoying my Delorean.
