[DML] DMC Midwest Grand Opening Event Recap

It's over....

We estimate (thanks Ken K, expert people counter) that the group hit
about 150 attendees, and about 50 cars including the ones inside. It
was hard to get a count with all the action.

The weather was fantastic and so were the people. Special thanks to
Stephen Wynne, Don Steger, and Toby Peterson for lending moral,
technical and muscle support. We even sent Stephen out with Mike on
two roadside rescues!

Our "special attraction" was Dan's Video Display DeLorean showing off
the 17 video screens and megawatt sound system. This was the car's
first showing at a DeLorean dedicated event, and I suspect he'll be

The farthest-driven was believed to be Dick Ryan from Steamboat
Springs Colorado, with a close second by Bernie and Matt from
Baltimore Maryland. There was the large St. Louis contingent and a good group from Minneapolis/St.Paul too.

Thanks again to everyone who attended and made the day so special,
and I'm sorry I didn't get to have detailed conversations with

Dave and Julee Swingle

Nice work from Mark Valuch too:
