Re: [DML] I think my fuel pump is shot. Your thoughts please!

Paul,

I just received word that there are two versions of the RPM relay. One with
a timer that starts the pump, and one without a timer. Not sure if there
was a VIN change or supplier change or what. But at any rate, plenty of
DeLoreans work just fine w/o a timer, so if the original poster is still having
starting troubles, he should probably be looking at other areas of the car.
Just because his does not prime, it doesn't mean the car won't start properly.

Just a note, my pump does not kick in until I turn the engine over. When I
first switch the key on there is no noise of it priming.
