After you check the most obvious and common causes (the connectors to
and the #7 fuse, the inertia switch, make sure it has a white paint
splotch) and the fuel pump still isn't running after jumping the RPM
relay and the inertia switch it is time to get a voltmeter. Measure at
the connector plug going to the fuel pump. You MUST have 12 volts on
one side and a good ground on the other. If you do then the pump is
dead. If you don't you have to follow the wiring to find out why you
don't have power and ground. You will then probably wind up pulling
the washer bottle and checking the wiring harness in there. There is a
plug that the fuel pump circuit goes through and the connectors are
probably dirty.
