Re: [DML] Windshield washer pump



One more thing on this topic:

I strongly suspect that the root cause of many washer pump failures  
has to do with the tiny drain holes at the bottom of black bucket  
getting plugged up, causing an accumulation of water and/or washer  
fluid in the bucket. This in turn causes the pump to rust up.   I  
recommend that everybody go out to the garage and drill a few larger  
drain holes as a preventative measure.
