[DML] Looking for a Tie Rod (Not Tie Rod End)

Hi All,

Does anyone have an old, useable tie rod for a steering rack 
assembly?  The part is pictured on page 5-2-0 of the parts manual.  
It is not numbered, as it is a component of the rack assembly itself 
(item number 1, part number 100345/108754).  The tie rods themselves 
can't be bought separately from DMCH or any of the other vendors I 
spoke with.  I'm looking for a single tie rod from a late model rack 
(108754...VINs 1751+) unless someone can confirm that the tie rods 
are interchangeable between the 2 rack types.  

I need this for a steering rack core I returned to SpecialTAuto.  
One of tie rods on the rack I returned was bent and cannot be used 
in the rebuild.  I need to get a useable tie rod to SpecialTAuto in 
order to reclaim a $250 core charge that was charged on top of the 
$250 rebuilt rack's cost.  According to posts on DMCHelp it appears 
that DMCH only requires the pinion as a core return and not the 
entire rack...not sure if that includes the tie rods.  Maybe someone 
who used a DMCH replacement has what I'm looking for?  Anyway, I'll 
buy the rod or the whole rack if it includes a useable rod (if the 
price is reasonable).
