[DML] Fuel Injectors - Are they easy to test for spray pattern?

Over the last year or so, I have replaced most of the fuel system
components(pump, accumulator, filter, warm up regulator, etc.). I
had the hot start problem and fixed that as well. I also believe
that I have no vacuum problems. However, the engine still seems to
run a little rough, but inconsistently. At time, it purrs like a
kitten. At other times, usually after it heats up for a while, the
engine runs a little rough (erratic idle, seems like skipping
cylinders, etc., but not extreme, just not smooth and even). It
also does not seem to be too responsive when I quickly accelerate,
like it wants to bog down when I give it the gas. I am suspecting,
and perhaps I am wrong, that the injectors may not be atomizing
properly, and I would like to check them. I plan on buying new
rubber seals and clips, and trying the glass baby jar method of
pulling them and checking the spray pattern. Once I remove the air
filer components, is access easy to the injectors to pull them and
test them out?

Thanks,

Paul
