Hi Mark,

 

Why not start a poll and ask to supply info on the tires
(make and type) used, mileage before changing, driving
under various conditions (dry, wet, snow, sleet), noise,
vibration etc.

Results could be published in magazines and so be
available to anyone interested.

 

My tires are GoodYear, but I also have seen Pirelli and
Michelin on D's.

I guess it's better to have good, reliable tires than
originals that do not meet the demands.

Chris and the DML group,

Not sure if you read my posts about tires but do a
search for 
message number 68420 and 68421 posted just one month
ago.
There you will find my eperience with recently installed
new tires 
on my DeLorean.
It would appear the tires have been lasting tens of
thousands of 
miles and people don't normally drive their D's every
single day and 
people don't bother to post their opinions about tires
that there is 
a long span where no one comments about new tires.
