Wayne, 
I had the same thing almost happen to me several years ago when I worked
with Corvettes. Came out for lunch one day and someone had taken silver
paint and dumped all over my beautiful blue car. 
I used Naphtha to take off the paint that was dumped on the car. 
Didn't hurt the new paint on the car. Naphtha is good to clean oil off of
parts and leaves no residue.
