I agree with Tom.  I recall hearing the story about the poor quality  
of the platinum plugs on the DML quite a few years ago.  I have a  
feeling this issue has long been resolved.  I put the +4s on mine  
right after Pigeon Forge and have put over 15,000 miles on the car  
since then.  It has never run better.
