RE: [DML] Headlight Switch

Wouldn't changing the side marker lights to LEDs accomplish the same thing? My understanding is that these lights put an additional load on the switch.

I admit, I did that, and my switch died. :(

Barry,
I have been telling people for months to add the headlight saver switch kit
$24.95 I sell and you will no longer have trouble with the headlight switch
melting. I just put in a new switch and a saver kit to a customers car here
in Dallas so it won't burn up again. I have been up dating all the cars as
they come into our shop. Even the new switches most likely will not be
updated to keep from melting.
Everyone should add the saver to prevent from melting.
If you wish even though it may be to late now I will see if it can be saved
if you want to take it out and send it to me.
