RE: [DML] Has this been attempted?

Cory, We make a lot of Stainless Steel products and have them cut by the
laser cutters. The problem is they can cut anything as long as it is flat.
But when it has to be formed like the fascias then there goes the labor.
Painting is cheap and fascias are plentiful.

Has anyone else ever tossed around the idea of producing custom
fascias made from stainless? I was thinking of calling some stainless
manufacturers and getting their input on if this can even be done or
not. I thought I'd ask the list first because maybe I can save myself
a lot of trouble if someone chimes in with the right info.

I just think it would be bitchin' to have stainless fascias. No more
warping... I'm going to guess that this is a near impossible feat,
seeing as DMC could not keep grooved/gas flap hoods in production
because it was too hard to stamp them. Have there been advancements
in 25 years in stainless production? Would this be a little easier
nowadays? I'm still guessing that it would be costly no matter what
way you slice it.
