Ed, we normally Idle all cars at 950 to 1000 RPM's in the shop. If nothing
else is wrong then I would idle at that.

Question for you.....   My D idles at 1500 without the A/C on and 1000 when the A/C is on.   What is the proper idle speed for the car.
