Re: [DML] Recommended Tires

Hey Tiffany,

I just replaced all four tires on my D. After talking with many DeLorean owners, researching the groups and getting many different opinions, I decided to go with the Dunlop GT Qualifiers. Are they the absolute best tire out there? Most likely not. Do some DeLorean owner's dislike them? Maybe. All I know is I got all four from Tire Rack for $286 (including shipping) and they all match as long as you turn the rear white-lettered tires in.

My old tires were GTs and GT+4s and since they didn't have them, I tried to find ones that matched, were reasonably priced and what I could easily get. I never had Dunlops before, but I've been told they are a decent tire. They've been good so far (about 600miles), but I guess I'll see how they do a few thousand miles down the road. Hopefully this helps! :-)

          Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to replace the two rear tires on my Delorean and want to know people's
experience with tires. Currently, I have Goodyear Eagle GTs on the front, one on the back and
one odd ball (a replacement from when I got a flat tire). The Goodyear Eagle GTs aren't made
anymore, so there is now the Goodyear Eagle GT2 and NASCAR GT.

What kind of tires would you all recommend? Has anyone had any experience with the 'Run
Flat' tires? Are these reliable? Thanks for your help!
