RE: [DML] Fuel system pressure questions

Charles,
The distributor can't be cleaned out in a conventional way with cleaners.
Once the fuel turns to gel and hardens it has to be replaced. Taking it
apart will result in leaking and possible fire hazard.
B12 cleaner will swell the O Rings and render it in operational.
Sorry I have no good news.
I have rebuilt in stock for $449.95 exchange with a 2 year warranty.

Subject: [DML] Fuel system pressure questions

I have had the car apart for 18 months. I did VOD work, all new in the
tank, filter, new injectors, and new SS lines. I wanted to clean out
the fuel distributor so I put in about 1/4 tank of gas and turned the
key to pressurize the system. Some fuel did come out (not much) I was
looking for some real pressure. Before I hook up the lines to the
injectors I want to know if this sounds right.
