[DML] My Tach has a mind of its own!

Hello everyone,

I noticed this when I took the D for its weekly drive. After I started
the car I turned the fans on to "3". The tach proceeded to jump up
into the 3-4000 range and oscillate back and forth, like it was
exaggerating my slightly hunting idle. What the heck? If I turned the
vent fans off the tach would go back to normal or if I revved the
engine it would go back to normal. After my drive it would not repeat
the same behavior even with the AC and headlights on! Obviously this
is an electrical issue but the batt reads 13 volts at idle. I have
cleaned millions of grounds. Any ideas?
